What is Yoga Therapy?
Yoga has always been a holistic healing discipline that provides various tools for promoting health, healing, and personal growth. One of the main benefits of yoga is its holistic approach, which considers the human system as a combination of different dimensions such as the physical body, breath, mind, personality traits, and emotions. These dimensions are interconnected and interdependent on each other.
While yoga is commonly associated with postures, it offers a wide range of tools that can be used for healing and transformation. These include breath regulation, meditation, visualization, chanting, lifestyle modifications, and dietary recommendations. The use of these tools makes the healing process comprehensive and personalized to the individual’s needs.
Yoga therapy is a holistic approach to healing that integrates traditional yoga practices with modern healthcare techniques, helping individuals achieve physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing.
